Questions for Eating Disorder Girl
how much do you think approx. i will lose in a week?... if i eat a satsuma for a snack and a lettice, red onion, carrot (and sometimes cheese/ham) salad (no dressing) for lunch and nothing else during the day? also doing 30 mins of cycling a day?

I’d say, depending on your body, per week, probably 3-6 pounds or so. Also depending on if your body adjusts or not

I haven't been formally diagnosed with an eating disorder but I can admit the way I eat isn't normal. I haven't had a period in over 2 months... why?

Probably from lack of food, or odd eating habits. If your body is overexerted, or doesn’t get the nutrients it needs, you tend to lose your period, most girls it’s only temporary, and some never get it back

i am so sick of my body shape. i dont know what to do about it. i started the skinny girl diet like 10 days ago and i just dont think its going to work. like my hips are thin, and i can see my rips when i stretch BUT i have this freakin flab in my lower tummy and my legs and arms are just too big to stand. i hate how i look. how can i change that? like i want the thigh gap SO much. but im athletic, so they're big. help me?

I believe those have some for the arms, and I’m pretty sure for the lower belly as well, to hlep tone up. As for the legs, that’s a tricky one, because the only way to lose muscle, is to pretty much no longer use it. So, as long as you’re doing your athletics, it might not be able to happen, BUT if, they’re not muscular, they’re just a little meaty, then any type of cardio workout can help, and some of the toning exercises as well. I’d say a month and a half, close to two months

how many calories does 30 min of jogging burn?

It all really depends, but generally, I’d say anywhere from 250-450 calories, all depending on where, and how your body burns the calories

I'm not even really sure if I have an eating disorder. Monday through Thursday, I starve. I'll have 200 calories or less each day. But then over the weekend, I tell myself it's okay to eat normally. I think I might have anorexia, but the fact that I justify eating normally on the weekend...I'm not sure. What do you think?

Generally, I can’t diagnose, since I’m not a doctor, but that does seem like some characteristics of an ED, which one, I’m not exactly sure, though, if it worries you, try talking to a doctor about it, even if you have to say it’s for “a friend”.

do you think it would be okay for me to eat a salad and a satsuma for lunch everyday? how many calories do you think that would be?.. then should i eat anything for dinner/breakfast?? please help!(:

If it’s the same satsuma I’m thinking of, then it should only be about 36 or so calories. And with the salad, it all really depends on what you have on it, because certain dressing and such have more calories, and for dinner and breakfast, try having something small for both, or if you intend on exercising, just, if you want, tally the calories, then just work them off :)

when you dont eat for 6 days like you said u have what are you doing instead? drinking water and coffee?

When I was starving, it was pretty much just a lot of water, a carrot stick here and there if I felt I was going to pass out, but when I was fasting, I generally did the juice fast, so that’s all I drank

how do you stay motivated? i mean i've been trying to lose weight for last 5 years and i'm really just sick of it. i always give up and i don't know what to do anymore. i'm stupid beacuse i feel sorry for myself. at one moment i'll hate the fact that i'm fat and in the other i'll be eating. i can't really starve beacuse i'll be tired for school and all, and only exercising never helped. I did try this week. trowing up, not eating. but my mom noticed. so i don't know. i really hate myself

Don’t hate yourself <3 It’s not the easiest thing in the world, and tearing yourself down will only make it worse. If you really want to lose weight, try slowly cutting out your junk food, and replacing it with healthy food, that you like. Also, fill up on some water while/before you eat, so you both boost your metabolism, as well as fill up a bit so you aren’t as likely to eat a lot. Just go slowly, and remind yourself that even when you fall, you can get back up and try again <3 There is NOTHING wrong with you <3 My ask box is ALWAYS open for anything you need <3

i would like to know,how much weight/pounds do you think can i lose in about a month, until maybe january if i cut out all junk food, chocolate etc and eat healthy with only little pasta, bread.. and if i wouldnt exercise very much.. ?

If you’re eating right, then you can lose any number. Some people can lose 10 pounds, some more, but I’d generally say for a whole month, 10 pounds or so, all really depending on your metabolism, and drinking a lot of water can help in boosting that.
